I saw this earlier Chris....the trouble is that those ruddy lemurs can give a nasty nip, as I found out to me cost when I was boy on the 60's !
the wonderful richard whiteley was a big ferret fan

My only painful experience with wild animals was with a koala. She was beautiful but having her hold onto my chest, with her claws dug into my chest as if it was a tree, made me wince a bit.

One of my cats (Tablo) asks to be stroked. She sits up on her hind legs, like a meerkat, and brushes here ears with her front paws, to show me what I've got to do.

true - was looking for that....and then there was the big dog comparison to the little one, with a snack break involved for the canine actors....
when it comes to templates for stories like this, Alex Dunlop had clearly never heard of Nigel Farrell and his nemesis, Pinky the Pig....
That head-chewing tiger cub reminds me of Caspar. He likes nothing better than a good hair nibble and a bit of scalp and ear chewing.
