horselady...23 hours labour?...No bullocks!!!!!
Childbirth without a doubt. Being in excrutiating pain for many, many hours (there is even a risk of the mother suffering complications which can cause death), and even before the birth, having to carry around all that weight for 9 months.

vs.

A jolt of pain after being kicked in the testicles. Lasting time- max. 2 hours. Comparable (in any way)? I think not. deal with it.
childbirth! untill you have been there you have no idea...nothing comes near the pain of childbirth...why oh why has the female body been so badly designed....and im absolutley amazed that the human body can deal with so much pain! sorry for all you girlies who have yet to experience it..all i say is have an epidural like i did with son number 1...bloody hosp wouldnt let me have one for son number 2 and oh my god ......pain is not even the right word!
What a funny post! Pippa you actually made me laugh out loud! I've given birth twice and it is an exhausting, extremely painful experience. Why do we go and do it again?
My first labour was 37 hours long and my second a meagre 6 hours long and I doubt getting kicked in the balls hurts as much as even the first contractions. The contractions hurt and although I had an epidural first time round on pushing my second one out I thought I was going to die. I am a toughie when it comes to pain and I actually screamed. I have heard that on the pain scale geting shot in the knee caps was a 9 whereas childbirth was a 27. Men are so selfish and rude to even suggest a flick to their manhood could compare.
Posy~Jo, you live down the road from me too then. You arent in Bridgewater are you?
i'm just outside yeovil goodsoulette, where r u? xXx
probably the INTENSITY and LEVEL of pain is more or less the same - however, the kick is just one sharp shock pain and then over with...you are left to recover

but the childbirth, the pain is not only more or less constant it gets worse and worse over many hours, until it peaks every few minutes or so - AND THEN... AFTER all that, you have to try to force a grapefruit out of an orifice that has previous only had the width of a cucumber anywhere near it. (the wide end if you are lucky...;o)

heres the scenario -

9pm - kick in the nads
10pm - another kick in the nads
11pm - another nadkick
12am - another nadkick
1am-another nadkick
2am-another nadkick
3am-another nadkick
3.30am-another nadkick
4am-another nadkick
4.20am-another nadkick
4.40am-another nadkick
5am-another nadkick
5.10-another nadkick
5.20-another nadkick
5.25-another nadkick
5.30-another nadkick
5.33-another nadkick
5.35-another nadkick
5.36-another nadkick
5.37-another nadkick

then, no rest to get over the above, oh no, then the 'pooing a basket ball' situation.

then your skin, about an inch or so just RIPS OPEN - imagine that little bit of skin under yout top lip - just being forced apart.

then once the baby is out, still no rest - out comes the placenta - more contarctions and pushing

then, you get a needle in there to sew you up and finally you can rest

then just a few weeks of feeling like you've gone few rounds with mike tyson, stinging, itching etc

rofl @ joko
lmao joko... i discussed this with a male in the last couple of hours and he tried to argue for a split second it probably hurts more, then I asked him if he was actually watching me give birth to our son and he shut his big stupid mouth.
Posy~Jo I am in Taunton but funnily enough might be moving to Yeovil for work reasons in the winter.
