Got snow last night which froze, causing fun and games on my road this morning... I live on a 1 in 8 hill.

Very hard frost overnight and then the snow started early morning so it's lying. Need to drive later so fingers crossed roads are gritted.

It snowed in Peterborough for about 10 mins last night. I'm back home now and its gorgeous. Sunny and bright but quite cold. Feels a bit strange to have the fire lit and the sun streaming through the windows. On Tuesday I had to drive to Ipswich and across the fens there was still quite a bit of snow lying and it was perishing cold (car said it was -4.5). Now I've got my sparkly lights up in the conservatory, I hope it does snow it because it will look pretty :)
