Sorting through my late father's garage I came across an unopened and sealed bottle of Royal Salute Blended Scotch Whisky in a burgundy coloured velvet bag. At the time it was a 21 year old Scotch and according to my mother they have had it at least 30 years making the contents 50+ years old! Can anyone here shed any light on this? Is it okay to drink still or is it worth anything? Many thanks.

Actually DTC if you add a drop of water to some malts it deepens the flavour and is recommended by the distilleries!
(I know, Islay, it's just the old joke, the water releases some of the ketones and the rest!)......
