Good Morning Early Birds!

Saturday. No frost this morning. Wonderful! Lots of cloud about.

The Still ongoing saga. There was me waiting for the wee men to arrive and finish the job, and waiting, 1030 I phoned the contractor's office. An underling answered, the one I wanted out all day. I was assured a message would be forwarded to her. Nothing. I phoned again at 1100. Same result. In the afternoon I spied the council lass with yer man from the contractors heading to another job nearby, I hailed them and the came to see me when they'd finished there. Yer man knew I wasn't happy, shall I say. The council lass was not impressed with the cowboys either. Cutting a long story short, I've been promised...again...that the wee men will be here Monday as they don'y work weekends. I told him what was likely to happen if they were not. The council lass had a hell of a job keeping a straight face! The company man is in no doubt what I think of his company and it's work ethic. or lack of! It's like something out of a Carry On film, but you couldn't write comedy like it!

That bathroom job of yours Boaty is like a mini series !

Very late this morning, and I have an appointment in Newport at 10:30, so off I must go. Warmed up a bit, no defrosting needed, thank goodness.

three days all in, they had to buy an extra pump because my hot water was coming through but they were clean, tidy and done as i said within three days.

sorry that should read the hot water wasn't coming through but it got sorted in those three days. i would recommend them to any one but they are based mostly in the capital..

bathroom will be my next project once the porch is up..never had a bath here in 11 years always a shower and it would make life easier to have a walk in one..will leave more room as it is only a tiddly wee bathroom...
