She's not happy about it and feels that she will further be viewed as 'not normal'. Although she admits most of her 'friends' think she is odd and specifically exclude her from their group activities anyway.

I say friends quite lightly. She stands next to them in the hope one of them will talk to her.

Having spoken to DS he now tells me he has often found her hiding in a secluded area at schools old crying and having a panic because she can't cope with her 'friends having arguments between themselves.

I wish It could help her more but nothing I say seems to get through.

Hopefully she will get better with the help of councilling.

Oh Joy of Joys another melt down this evening.

All because I asked her to empty the dishwasher so she could put the cake making stuff in there (she just made the yellow layer for the rainbow cake).

I kept as calm as she'd would allow and told her she was going to councilling. That ratcheted it up a bit and she almost knocked the chest of draws over !!!

She simply can't see or won't accept that councilling will help. I to,d her I will pick her up and take her there kicking and screaming if I have to.
Do you punish her bad behaviour?

She gets sent to her room.

She thinks she is constantly being punished (especially when her brother does things. Or in fact when she brings things up that happened years ago!!)

He gets told of but she will have a melt down and that is what we have to deal with.

Ordinarily she (well both of them) are well behaved and get told off when they have done something wrong it is just that she has a melt down and when we deal with that it is in her head being told off more severely for something he would just get a bit of antelling off for. If that makes sense?
