Perhaps if they paid the money to remploy the district nurse instead of strangers the patients could return to their own home
^ agree
I worked in a care home and we had to close the kitchen for a week to do urgent repairs. We used special catering microwave meals , not the supermarket ones. After a few grumbles the residents actually said they liked them better than the normal food. They had a choice of 8 or more dishes rather than all getting just 2 options. There were complaints when we went back to the normal food. I think this will be a similar scheme , they won't just let the homeowners pick what they give the guests.
The point is that this is being funded by the NHS , district nurses were funded by local authorities who have had their care budgets slashed.
