awww, shame, I liked her

RIP Rosemary
Yes, I remember her, and liked her. RIP
very sad RIP
when I heard she'd died, I tried to remember where I'd seen her before - it was in The Power Game, 50 years ago. Ian Holm, Barbara Murray, Peter Barkworth - all people I remember from that series.

Well remembered jno !

....But I remember her in The Jewell in the Crown, one of my favourite TC programs, and also my favourite books !
Didn't Barbara Murray play Janet, the housekeeper, in Dr. Finlay's Casebook?
that was Barbara Mullen. Barbara Murray was the one who looked rather like Kay Kendall.
loved Kay Kendall. brilliant in " Genevieve"
Question Author
Kay died tragically young.....wife of Rex Harrison.
Yes, I remember her. Always enjoyed watching her. RIP
She was in Life Begins at Forty as well, with Derek Nimmo.

I liked her, RIP Rosemary.
She played "Joan Plumleigh-Bruce" in that excellent (though seldom repeated) serial "The Charmer". Ralph Gorse (Nigel Havers) divests Mrs P-B firstly of her clothes, then of all her money and finally of her life. Bernard Hepton, who played Donald Stimpson, her bank manager and friend, sets out to bring Gorse to justice. Gripping stuff !!
