Irma it is not, that is the good news; fingers crossed on that front that my sis and bro-in-law's Fort Lauderdale property is okay.

Sunday evening here, a rather nice glass of Chorey-les-Beaunes sliding back, Fake or Fortune to come on shortly....

I've been trying some wines from a new (to me) merchant - we had a bottle of this with our Rib Eye steak for dinner & very nice it was too :

Elderflower Presse
Moved on from tea - got a Merlot.
^^^ I love elderflower pressé, Daisy!

On a Sunday evening I would normally have been drinking a couple of pints of Peroni, while doing a crossword with my mates, in a pub in Ipswich. However there are rail replacement buses on three successive Sundays (starting today) and it's not been worth going, as I'd only got a very short time there. So I thought that I might stay off the booze tonight. However I needed to open a bottle of claret to cook with earlier on today and it seems a shame to waste the rest of it, so . . .

;-)
