I presume the actors involved just go in and do a couple of days work, which covers a few weeks of transmissions.
You don't hear them doing advert voiceovers, which I guess is excluded by their contract terms. Therefore unless they have other acting commitments I guess they need other occupations, like 'Roy' in his pub.

Linda for Restaurant manager? Am I alone in disliking Nolle, she seems to be a bit of a brat. I think she may come to live in Ambridge permanently, lucky Brian, Kate's mini-me.

No, but what is she playing at? Will Justin's time in Edinburgh prove to be totally innocent? Did Matt know before he turned up that Justin was away? Will Lillian end up living in Ecuador?

I've always thought she would end up back with Matt, some people just never learn. As far as the programme goes she's a bit of a loose end, she doesn't fit in anywhere so sending her to Ecuador might make sense. Brian would be devastated!
