It's the other way round in some cases where the husband got sentenced because the wife did speak.

Horrible man, and it's good that the victim spoke up as too many get away with it. I'm not sure whether a jail sentence is normally given for this sort of abuse (touching breasts through clothes) but he is under a supervision order and the subject of a Sexual Offences Prevention Order for ten years. I'm not sure whether the Mail has distorted the reasons as they don''t say that the judge gave the wife's poor English a sthe reason- it was the defendant who made the claim along with the issue of having six children including one with learning difficulties. The headline may be slightly misleading - this has happened before with the Mail
