Would Jacob Rees-Mogg make a good PM? He seems like a decent honourable guy who would put the country before himself. He's also a Brexiteer, so wouldn't listen to all the nonsensical demands from the EU. I know he's against women killing babies, but surely we all are?

He's a misogynist. We don't need a second Donald Trump in power. Babies should not be killed... no.
Don't be ridiculous pixie he is not a misogynist. Unless he's married to a wife he hates. He is a good man, and would make an excellent P.M. Alas the other trough feeders will try to block him.
we are not all agaist "women killing babies"
No he wouldn't make a good PM.....he's far too inflexible and not prepared to listen......that sort of person makes the worst of all leaders.

As for killing babies, as you so horribly put it. His religion sees intervention to save the life of a pregnant woman with an ectopic pregnancy as wrong. I was told that the surgery I had to save my life was the same as if I'd had an abortion and I was banned from receiving any of the sacraments of the Catholic Church....

People who think like that are very dangerous.
I don't think that the Minister for 1847 would make a good Prime Minister, but it's academic - no-one north of Watford would vote for him.
yet gness, my ex (non-Christian) had an ectopic D&C in a catholic hospital in Guildford.....just shows you how god-damned double face that they can be......
intelligent yes, does he listen, I have my doubts. Too polarised to the right and liable to make some major gaffes over things that he doesn;t take a balanced position on, like his religion - also a bit of a misogynist, (wit look at his comments on rearing babies - 'I leave it Nanny,' is not going to cut it with the majority of the electorate. Shades of a PG Wodehousean character to him......which I suspect some on here would like, even those on the left.
If the thread is going to focus on one particular point it will be a re run of those already on site.

Politically I think he would be a good PM based on what I know and I am not a very political animal.

The other topic (very important I know) I have commented on at length elsewhere, I try to aim for as little repetition as possible.
