Friend called on Tuesday and we were talking about our first interviews for jobs. She was telling me her sister in America - is also my friend - anyway she went for her first interview.

Interviewer - this is about 55 years ago. Interviewer - who is the President of the South of Ireland, Eamon - friend says Andrews. Of course it was De Valera. Truly think it is funny.

Sorry Tilly - she is Irish - this was when she was about 17 - she emigrated to America about 20 I think.
Mixing up Éamon de Valera with Eamonn Andrews? That's ridiculous!

That's like not knowing this man was the British Prime Minister:

Did she get the job?

Chris - it is only quite recently that I found out that the Prime Minister wasn't in a band in his spare time.

I used to think that New Zealand was north of Oz - I think that it is to the south. When did they move it?
I used to think Mantovani was a type of pasta.
I can remember having to have a sleep in the afternoon on camp beds.
But on the other thread?
