ooops, just spotted mikey's thread
Not to worry , he's worth a second look isn't he?
Blimey, I hope he manages to survive in the wild looking like that. He's beautiful.
from what I heard on the News this morning, he/she has been spotted often over the past couple of years in the area.

(Although, it's not a difficult beauty not to spot!!)
Good, sounds like he's surviving then.
I have a sneaky feeling the natives would take a very dim view of someone disturbing the fella :-D

(I'm forever an optimist, ham xx)
Hope you're right albs x
So , will all the trophy hunters be heading to sweden
it appears to have pink eyes so it is a true albino

The pub in ( a pub in ) Beaminster ( west dorset n of Bridport ) oh and n of Broadchurch - is called the White Hart ( male deer) and that is because rumours and tales of a white deer have persisted for around a thousand years ( since 1150) in the vicinity

Last spotted in the Jubilee Year or Millennium
and taken to be a Very Good SIgn

albino animals dont last very long in the wild....
The Beeb news stated this morning that the Swedish one is not albino.
(Must admit, I didn't look at the eyes)
thanks for the article
it doesnt point out that all the examples were in snowy places and so there may be an evolutionary advantage - for sort of half the year anyway
As my link states many are considered not to be true Albinos but 'White morphs' like those found in Foleyet,Ontario.
Still magnificent creatures.
