Is it just where I live in West Yorks or does anyone else notice the use of fireworks at day and night time too? I have just heard them going off and its 13.52!!!
What is it - it cannot just be to notify the local junkies
There is no law about the time of year fireworks can be set off.
We tend to only think of them as November 5th, but other cultures use them for any sort of celebration at any time of year. There are many shops that sell fireworks 52 weeks a year.
Melv - Don't think we aren't spared the hired sports cars zooming around because we are.
Mind you - travelling from Pudsey to Calverley yesterday via Woodhall Rd (you will know where I mean danny) at 7.30pm is bad enough and no hire powered cars involved just idiot drivers. I don't know why all drivers don't have on board cameras for their own safety and security.
Regularly hear them in Burnley, day or night. Seems that folk will set them off to celebrate anything; birthdays, wedding anniversaries, divorces, baby's first normal poo, etc, etc, etc.
