It might help to know which sports you're interested in (Soccer? Cricket? American Football? Baseball? Tennis? Golf? Hurling? Curling? Archery? Ski-jumping? etc, etc) and which platform you watch TV on (Freeview? Freesat? Sky? BT? TalkTalk? Virgin Media? etc, etc).

As it stands, your question seems far too general for any meaningful answer at the moment.

Anything really . I'm just a sports junkie mate . Well apart from American football , curling and some of the other stuff you mentioned :)
Okay , I'm more a footie and rugby guy but I'll even watch darts if there's nothing else on .
Ive just noticed a sports section , I'll maybe head there , cheers and I'll be more specific .
Thanks for your reply. At least we seem to have established that you're in the UK. (A lot of late night posts here come from people in the USA, who don't realise that The Answerbank is UK-based).

Last October The Telegraph nominated 'The 20 best sport pundits on television right now'. Perhaps their list will be of interest to you?

Celebrity Big Brother was keeping O/H occupied so I decided to wander around. Actually , very interesting list there and no surprise they're in the main all ex-pros . Some good media training there then .

Apologies . My answer went before I was finished if I seemed abrupt . No idea what happened .
Disappointed to see that Jeff Stelling and his main men aren't on the list before some of the tennis commentators . They're highly entertaining on Sky Sports .
I love Clare Balding for swimming. Brendan Foster for running. Annabel Croft for tennis.
I'm getting a bit fed up with Sue Barker being wheeled out for every tennis event in England.

I like Eurosport for its quirkiness. One minute you're watching skiing then suddenly its speedway, e.g.

BBC is annoying for its switching channels during Wimby for no reason that anyone can see.
Leon Taylor for the diving (of the aquatic kind). Have no knowledge at all of the sport myself, but he makes it very entertaining.
I like Jim Proudfoot. He was doing Premier League commentaries for Absolute Radio, and is now with Talksport.
I'm not into golf, but there was a match when Nick Faldo was teamed up with Ian Woosnam. Both landed in the same bunker some distance away and chipped out to within a foot and 6 inches respectively of the hole. To which Peter Allis commented "I told you Woosnam had the easier lie'.
well it's not john (where's the white ball going?) virgo
