Sky Hd Picture Freezing/jumping On New Tv

Just bought a new Samsung HD TV. All parts of the set up, including the playstation and Apple TV work are crystal clear. Normal Sky channels works but when switching to HD channels the picture either freezes or jumps. The sound is perfect. I have changed the HDMI cable and rebooted the Sky box. What else can I try or could this just be the Sky box? Thanks

Was your previous TV HD? If so, perhaps the problem lies with the TV set.
HD has a higher data density than ordinary TV. Could it be that your dish is slightly out of alignment?

Previous TV did have HD as well, though we rarely watched the channels. Just been informed by a guest at my house who tried to watch HD prior to the new TV same problem then! Oh well, least I now know it's not the TV n must be either the Sky box or the HDMI cables. Thanks bhg481.
