In light of what happened a week ago tonight, is this considered sensible (given who he plays for) or a little too 'in yer face' for those who blame his religion as a cause for such atrocities?

Second part of you're post makes no sense db .
It does make sense, although a comma would have helped.
Even your post makes sense if you ignore the mistake.
Talbot, you are a sad little man . I'll go back to ignoring you .

Bizarre.
But I will take strengh from Gloria Gaynor's fine words on this rather sad news of you ignoring me.
What... 'Never can say goodbye' ...
// One thought though. Do suicide bombers to be generally do the Haj before going boom.//

no - boom boom as Roland Rat might have said
that is because the actual bombers are young gullible easily influenced and not rich

also in Arabic they have the right to be addressed ya hagg
( O pilgrim ) which I have never heard in connection with any of the English bombers

what was the disposal of the London bombers - were they given back to the families for righteous and Islamic burial ?

[The 1978 Brum bombs were detonated because the Bishop of Brum threatened to excommunicate any priest burying the fella who blew himself up trying to blow up Covernty telephone exchange)

I mean Martin McGuiness got a church burial innit ?

I think it's neither.

Millions of Muslims make pilgrimages every day, they are not news.

Mr Pogba is a highly paid sportsman, and therefore a 'celebrity' - so his daily life is 'news' to some people.

I think anyone looking for a link between his club's location, his faith, and his choice to make a private pilgrimage is reaching for a link that does not exist.
“Wise Or Foolish?” Neither. Purposely controversial.
Naomi - // “Wise Or Foolish?” Neither. Purposely controversial. //

Do you have any evidence for that observation?
andy-hughes, no, I don’t - but it’s my opinion. He is, as you say, a celebrity, but no news agency sought this information. He made the decision to tweet it – and in my opinion – again – it was highly inappropriate and in extremely poor taste.
I wonder whether he would have been picked out from the masses has he not shared the information?

The age we live in....
Naomi - // andy-hughes, no, I don’t - but it’s my opinion. //

You are expressing an opinion??????

I thought we weren't allowed to do that on here!!!!!!!!
andy-hughes, pleased we got that straight.
Well I have known for seventeen years that simply expressing a view on here is perfectly acceptable, and have defended that right many times.

As far as your realisation of that simple concept - better late than never!
andy-hughes, Odd you didn't know it at 12:58 today then. ;o)
