Does anyone else apart from me have a peculiar dislike of the term 'the British people'? It was a favourite term of the odious Ted Heath. By that he meant ME.

Now there's a thought...
I cringe when politicians refer to 'our children' which is designed to make us feel all warm and fuzzy and inclusive, when actually it just means 'that political football that we punt about to try and get votes'!
Say what you like about Tony Blair, at least he made the trains run on time.

Or was that Hitler?
Anyway

If he was to make a comeback, even with all his baggage, we'd at least know what we were getting and what the goal was unlike the shambolic cabal of inadequates currently "in control".
