Coat Hangers

OH Has just come up with in my mind a ridiculous statement. The coat hangers that have two clips at the top to hold trousers are for females only.
Is this true?

Those silly little clips invariably leave indentations in trousers and only women can be bothered with ironing trousers before wearing them ;-)

I use whatever coat hangers are to hand , the clip ones don't cause a problem if you clip at the waistband of the trousers and they fall straight with no creases.

If you hang your trousers over a bar hanger you have a crease across the middle of your legs. I prefer a clip hanger. They're not just for women. I'm not sure how your OH came up with that, Caran.
I don't iron unless it's really important.

In hotel wardrobes, the coathangers with two clips tend to be for men to hang their trousers (especially in the Middle East where there are no provisions for women because they don't count)
