/// She also branded their decision as being 'totally ridiculous' and asked why women 'lose our space to men'. ///

Surely it should be the men moaning, who wants other sexes barging into the men's loo when they are standing using a urinal?

like on a plane, then?
indeed jno!
// That's why you didn't specialise in Urology.//

because if he had - he would probably want her to go over him ?

At the uni rugby club when we sort of went co-ed
the fella in charge said
why dont you have two doors leading to the same mega bath tub?

we were young then ....
Thunderous sounds, plopping noises, and muted sighs of relief...
Surely there are some things better done without the inhibiting thought that members of the opposite sex might be inadvertently eavesdropping?
It wont be long before somebody insist that blokes have to sit down to have a slash. (^_*)
On a plane you haven't got someone in the next cubicle though who can hear everything
^ although one time down the back of a 747 I found that someone had drilled a hole through the wall from one loo to another. There are some very odd people out there.
I'd prefer nobody of either sex eavesdropping, sandyRoe. The Japanese have the right idea, playing loud music in their loos.
There are shared facilities at Waitrose and many stores. No problem. Though personally I'd rather use the convenience after a lady than a bloke as they are generally more hygienic.
I remember a rugby match once we had a lady ref, and no ladies facilities so we all had to wait outside the shower block whilst she showered!
To Pee, or not to Pee, that is the quest(ion).
It's all down to symmetry: look at any Public Loo (where they still exist) and they are always perfectly symmetrical.
If fact the female bit should be four times the size - three cubicles take up the same space as twelve men standing......Architects are still reluctant to acknowledge this, so the problem continues in modern buildings.
No one mentions the needless waste of water either Rob. Perhaps all the ladies will have to "do it" standing up. :))
Mind you I suppose the bog door graffiti is about to get a whole new lease of life. :))
Happy for women to come in if I'm in. Not sure they would be so happy about it if I'm in there taking a dump. At home I'm not allowed to use the bogs upstairs I have to use the one in the lobby (rather unfortunately for the postman as its right by the front door).

Are we looking at the death of the urinal?
you're probably looking a century into the future for that, ymb. But in the long run, possibly.
