I have never lost a baby or child, but I do think Michelle's grief over baby Ruari is a little too much.

I think she's just not a very good actress Sharon.
Robert to the rescue...
Oh Yes!
I agree Sharon but I'm sure someone will come on in a minute saying we don't know what it's like blah blah.

She's saying now she's nothing left, well what about the things before like Steve, Amy, Liz, Ryan......
i don't watch corrie, but you can really all eff off.
1)everyone experiences grief differently
2) i hope that none of you has ever lost a child, but really the feelings are totally indescribable
3) the Stillbirth and neonatal death society helped with the storyline, in order to try to portray the utter life changingness of the situation.
4) it's a tv programmand if her upsetness is bugging you, turn it off
ps blah blah, i hope to god you dont know what it's like
she has lost a baby herself so I guess shes the best person to know
I don't know what its like as have never lost a baby but I can imagine its one of the worst things to go through. I thank my lucky stars I have my babies
I lost my baby last year, plus my right tube. I was also bleeding internally.

My grief and anguish post ectopic spiralled out of control. I got ***-faced several times, which didn't help.

Now I'm on Citalopram which thankfully has helped loads.
My baby girl born full term lived for only 40 minutes, the anguish and desperation was unbearable.
No mention of her son Ryan you would think he would get in touch to comfort her but then all that was complicated!
You're not in your right mind at that time, that's the thing. It may seem over the top to an onlooker but that's how it is.
i couldnt even leave the house for weeks and weeks. I wouldnt even put the washing out in case the neighbours saw me. Looking back, i don't really know why, but its what i needed to do at the time

Sorry if my post has offended and upset.
As I said never lost a child but I do know grief having lost my Mum.
Bednobs, it did not upset me, but I wondered if Michelle was over acting.
Know I know.
In view of what Michelle and Steve have suffered in real life I am full of admiration for their acting. They did it beautifully. She lost a baby of her own and Steve has lost multiple babies.
Completely ruining what was once a enjoyable and funny soap, all this social messaging, and it now looks as if another drab story line is looming on the horizon with Ken Barlow.

I would like to know how all this affects those who are actually going through these health problems for real?

I bet it cheers them up so much.
I have admired her acting in this storyline and she has made me cry on occasion, I feel sorry for Steve keep getting it in the neck though ! I too find it odd though that her other sons never come to visit, especially now.
