Can't you cook some of it and re-freeze it cooked?
If you don't want to waste it the Tilly has the best solution
^then^
If the meat is still below freezing you can refreeze it, even if it is only 2 or 3 degrees below freezing. ice cream will be useless though.
Yeah Tilly is right, you could make a stew or something with the meat and then freeze it. The dairy products probably not.
or have a meat feast today ! [my solution]

the dairy products we food technologists say have been 'heat-shocked'
allowed to defrost and then refrozen and forget it basically
eat now or throw away or put thro the dogs

quality is dreadful - you find a layer of water/ice then a layer of goo ( sweet) and then a frothy layer of

and as you stare at it you can think " Margaret thatcher's first job was to get us to eat more froth and air and less goo however little it cost"
I did this last year. Had to take everything down the tip. Lots of meats, roasts, chops, chicken etc. Couldn't claim on insurance as excess was too high.
Also happened a few years ago when we were on holiday. Power cut knocked freezer off. Everything rotten. Daughter found it when she went round to check on the house. She said the smell was horrendous. She cleared everything up and took it to the tip. You have my sympathies. It's a horrible situation.
