Hi Just got back yesterday from Pattaya in Thailand. I went with my wife and daughter and had a wonderful time. A great beach and in November it will have plenty of sunshine, Very relaxing holiday and local people friendly. All the big hotels have there own swimming pools.Transport around the resort and resturants were cheap. We booked through Kuoni and stayed at the cosy beach hotel and were happy with there service. Never been to Caribbean or Indian Ocean.

http://www.cooperisland.com/beach.html 280 a head for a private villa. Beach club for meals, or order a hamper and chill out. Flights to Beef Island in the BVI for 400, 15 water taxi to the island . . . . .

Or go all eco and have a look at http://www.responsibletravel.com/ for some off the track ideas

Or why not Morrea Island in French Polynesia Society Islands. - 450 flight ex Heathrow, 60 a night for a bungalow overlooking the Pacific http://www.pacific-resorts.com/tahiti/moorea/village-temanoha/index.html

If you really want to relax, keep off the tourist trail and avoid the mass tourist market - you'll have a much better time . . .

Thanks for answers. Thaibus, was your hol all inclusive? I have searched kuoni website already and only 1 resort in Thailand offers all inclusive.

HI Again, The holiday at cosy beach was not all inclusive however the resturants in the hotel were open all day up to midnight and any meals taken can be charged to you room and if you book through Kuoni the hotel gives 20% discount when you check out. Also There are plenty of resturants near the hotel and all very good prices aprox half of what you would pay in England.

If you go to Thailand you always run the risk of your boyfriend being hijacked by the very very friendly natives...I am not joking.
Have a look at Cuba in the caribbean..several all in resorts in the Vardarro ? area, but also spend some time in Havana, before the Americans get there when Castro "retire's"
