Where would you recommend to go on holiday in November ? I want a holiday that has something to do i.e. a safari or city touring for a about 5 days with a hot beach holiday for the last week to 10 days, where you can come home with a good tan. Any idea's ??

For a 'hot beach holiday', in November, you'll need to head quite a way south. There's nowhere in Europe that's 'hot' (rather than just 'warm' or 'mild').

Even heading into the northern parts of Africa (e.g. the Canaries or Egypt) you won't find anywhere particularly hot. So that means going still further south.

The place that all of the travel supplements rave about (and which won't be as expensive as, say, Australia) is the Gambia.

There's plenty to do (when you're not lying on the beach) and the weather in November should be ideal. (It's the start of the dry season, so the humidity will be lower than in the previous months. It's also hot, but not unbearably so):

This firm specialises in holidays to the Gambia:

but there are usually some good bargains to be had from the big tour companies, e.g. First Choice:

What about Dubai? I have been before in late October and it was very hot. You could go into the desert on a jeep-type safari?
