Does anyone agree with me that the Christmas
programmes were mediocre? We have numerous repeats same old movies and The Weakest Link Muppet Special this programme is an adult programme so are we to act like muppets to enjoy, also why do TV schedulers always aim the programmes at kids etc they are too busy playing with their ds's and computer games to take any notice bring back the normal schedule by the way I was young once but thank goodness I did not have to depend on Tv for entertainment.

Tv is always dire, People just have unrealistic expectations at christmas, you are only going to get christmas versions of the same dross they show all year.

And lets not forget all those "classics" (repeats)

yes the films were nice, I was referring to the christmas specials of the weakest link, deal or no deal and any other quiz series'

lol I didnt consider either of them highbrow, and in any case there is no skill involved in "deal or no deal" it is purely a game of chance.
Liar Liar that was on today was on about 3 weeks ago and so were quite a few oher films. Christmas tv is absolute pants and makes me wonder why we pay a ridiculous amount in tv licencing fees. I know a majority of people will have SKY etc but even that got ridiculous with it's repeats.
It was disgraceful!
I have not watched anything except corrie and eastenders!!
