Had it seen it bought the T-shirt Doctors thought I had Carpal Tunnel syndom and suffered it for years and had every test and gadget to cure it to no avail I went to a chiropractor and he fixed it for 30 - it was a trapped nerve in my neck
By all means let a chiropractor get to work on you but there's no substitute for proper medical advice (and let's face it, this site is *certainly* no substitute for proper medical advice!!) so if it's still bothering you get along to you GP.
See a doctor. There is a simple nerve conduction test you can have for the nerves in your fingers. I just had my second carpal tunnel surgery a few weeks ago and am recovering perfectly.
I have had carpel tunnel for years in both hands and just recently had my 2nd op for my 2nd hand. Lying down can cause it, the raidial nerve gets inflammed and gives the prob, efeecting thumb, index, index and half of 4th finger, ther rest of the digits are supplied by the ulnar nerve, which it's vulnerable point is at the elbow. the radial nerve point is at the wrist. Hope this makes sense
