I'm in the middle of cooking a roast meal for my mum & brother to take round in a bit. I bought this bag of carrots, too many, so I've shredded the remainder & I'm making 2 carrot cakes later. When I get back, I think Ill have a drink & chill.

A nice relaxing morning watching football focus still looking unkempt and being lazy, until a Txt arrived from Bro asking if I'm still going today... Panic set in as I'd gotten the day wrong for a family gathering... a mad dash about six minutes later (I didn't know I could move or multitask that fast!) good to go... went to the wrong location... but finally arrived in time for main course Dinner... a good natter and few beers later catching up... I've had a great afternoon. Now chilling with a cold beer looking at the disarray I left my home in this afternoon. @12:27... It was a Taxi Home btw. ;-)

That is so true, so pleased I made it though once I'd got the location wrong I nearly gave up as I'd left phone at home on charge.

I did indeed, I haven't seen (Step since I was 2) Dad for a few years, and never met Bro's Girlfriend... and the regulars I see often were there also catching up with each other... hmmm difficult chosing a shampoo... I've swore on the Holy Grail never to go Shoe shopping with a woman ever... ever... ever... I mean never... ever again!.
