My use of the phrase 'died in the wood' was intended to make a point!
I was merely trying to point out that the phrase 'died in the wood' is meaningless whereas 'dyed in the wool' is meaningful.

psfodyd. Night all Haha.
If you were intending to make a point I'm afraid I missed it.
Does not say a lot for the IQ and reasoning power of the average 'Brexiter'!
One AB brexit supporter has actually admitted to being Xenophobic

That's so funny.
This thread has given me an earworm......

Eddie, //One AB brexit supporter has actually admitted to being Xenophobic//

If you’re referring to me – and I suspect you are – you’re making it up again. Re-read what you said and re-read what I said – and if that doesn’t work I’ll put it another way. Resorting to accusing people of xenophobia, or bigotry, or racism, is a strategy employed by the weak in an effort either to shut the opposition up or to add non-existent weight to an ineffectual argument. In this instance it’s an accusation without foundation and, as such, it means nothing. Hence I can live with it. Of all that’s wrong with this country’s membership of the EU, the only thing that concerns you is your ‘right’ – a ‘right’ that this country BUYS at enormous cost – to live and work in Europe – something you can do whether we’re in or out of Europe. Your lack of confidence in this country’s ability to survive and thrive without the nanny EU pulling its strings is not only cowardly – it’s truly pathetic.

Incidentally, the phrase you’re looking for is “Dyed in the wool”, not ‘Died in the wood”
Naomi, so what, exactly, did you mean by 'Eddie, really? I can live with that. Another small price to pay.'

In answer to Eddies assertion that your comments were xenophobic?
Zacs-Master, I made my meaning clear in my previous post.
No you didn't. You criticised Eddie for calling you Xenophobic and said it was 'an accusation without foundation'. The foundation was the comment you made which led Eddie and myself to believe that you could live with being labelled xenophobic if your comments made a point. Otherwise what did you mean by 'it's a small price to pay'?
Zacs-Master, I also said such comments are made for a purpose. Eddie’s opinion of me is neither here nor there – as is yours – and if that’s something else you don’t understand, I can live with that too.
Typical smokescreening from you there Naomi. Avoiding the question by starting to talk about opinions, is a strategy employed by the weak in an effort either to shut the opposition up or to add non-existent weight to an ineffectual argument.
If you're not bothered by our (or presumably anyone else's opinion of you) why did you comment at all? Surely your above all that?

Sometimes your mask slips Naomi and you just won't admit it.
As I said, such comments are made for a purpose and your latest effort is just another example.

naomi, your answers are looking xenophobic !

How does that ^ amount to naomi admitting she is xenophobic?
I took it as naomi didn't think her answer were xenophobic but if EDDIE wanted to construe them as that then so be it.
Let's just say if this were the Wizard of Oz, I'd have seen behind the curtain.

Writing a comment that quite clearly shows that your not bothered by accusations of Xenophobia and that being seen as such is a price worth paying, and then, realising you've let the mask slip, posting that Eddie is making it up, just makes you look a bit daft.
I think it's more about who is making those accusations. I can't be on my own in taking what EDDIE posts with a pinch of salt.
Talbot, so you’ve noticed too.

Zacs-Master, Don’t judge others by your own poor standards. I don’t wear a mask.
