No matter when or where and no matter how hard you try to save - you can't seem to SAVE - something is around the corner to knock you back.

We have Xmas, next is Easter, birthdays and so it goes on.

That's how I am finding it.

I am and have cut back - they'll certainly know this year. But having saying that they're not bad kids - I feel sorry for them - no mum and dad and tragic circumstances and all that makes me feel for them.
Why do you put a monetary value on everything? It's not about money and how much things cost. It should be about love and laughter.

You have always said that about me Ummmmm - I am very much NOT monetary person but am very aware today's kids are - maybe yours are not monetary - but the kids I am surrounded by are. I am also holding to neighbours's kids clothes for Christmas - I haven't a clue but is Kalvin Klein a good make) -for a 13 years old boy. I genuinely don't have a clue but would say they are a good brand - these for neighbours kids.

I am sorry Ummmmm - but there hasn't been much happiness in their lives from the ages of 5 when their brother was murdered and 2 years later their mother starves herself to death and then their dad was pretty much an alcoholic all their lives dies too. Nothing to be happy about - so in their minds - money makes them happy. I couldn't give a *** about it. I fairly give it it out (money that is not *** ) - so I do try to help but as Mamy says I really shouldn't have to justify myself
I know it's a cliche but it really is the thought that counts.
conne..I keep saying you are a very kind good heart..anyone close to you will know that..however, do not stretch yourself for gifts to others..your friendship is worth more than money
I agree with minty conne. I'm sure they value you for who you are, which is the best present anyone could have from you.
