/// No one is happy with him, apart from the deluded people who voted for him. ///

Isn't that always the case from the losers, when the results of any elections are declared?
/// “How is Barack going to get past the Muslim ban?” ///

Who said this one might ask?

No other than Hillary Clinton.

Boris says there is not a vacancy for this position, oh dear Nigel, better get it sorted before the gravy train runs out, or you will need job seekers allowance.
Well

1) I have not seen anywhere that Lord Farage has asked for the post.
In fact he himself said only last eek to Adam Bolton he did not think he had diplomatic skills.
2) If you actually read The Donalds tweet he said:
Many people would like to see @Nigel_Farage represent Great Britain as their Ambassador to the United States. He would do a great job!

Now where in that is he dictating anything? It's simply an opinion and one that will gel with millions.

Of course dont let any facts that get in the way of a lefty rant.
I did not say it ymb, BORIS did.
sp1814, 11:55, PMSL, It's taken you a week to come up with that?? i'm flattered you think it was worth it!
"Nigel Farage has accused Downing Street of putting its dislike of him ahead of the national interest after No 10 dismissed Donald Trump's comment that he could be a "great" ambassador."

Farage actually wrote:
"The dislike of me, UKIP, and the referendum result is more important to them than what could be good for our country."
I think he might be getting carried away with his own importance. Trump knows nothing about diplomacy and international relations. A fitting reply from Farage might be: "I am very flattered and I am willing to help in any way I can, but as for me being Her Majesty's ambassador in Washington..."

So what we have is the Trumporamus tweeting nonsense and Farage grandstanding to the readers of Breitbart.

But I suspect this one will blow over ... until the next sketch

Likewise, many people think that Kim Kardashian is an inspirational role model.

Just because 'many people' think something, doesn't mean it's not completely mental.

I admire you for thinking that it would take me a week to come out with an acronym.

It actually took about eight seconds (I do the Daily Telegraph crossword - acronyms are my life).

Hmm...'Acronyms Are My Life'. I might suggest that as a title for Carol Vorderman's autobiography.
Don't get your point SP. Apart from you are clearly wearing rose tinted specs still.
Question Author
Much as I hate to agree with Boris, but on this issue, he is 100% correct.

There is currently no vacancy for a British Ambassador to Washington, and when there is, Mrs May will have plenty of people from the Diplomatic Core to choose from.

End of story.....until the next Farage created story comes along then.
Corps, not core.
