Video Tapes?

I have a good collection of video tapes i tried to give them to the charity shops but they dont want them,and i have just found out that my neighbour has the same problem how to get rid of them anyone know?

What about your Jeff Chandler and Johnny Mathis videos? Are you binning them too ;-))
Bin them. Nobody wants them now. My local charity shops have all had notices on their doors for a couple of years or more now saying please dont give us any video tapes because it means we have to take them up the tip.

Put them on ebay for £1 for the lot (collection only)- someone might take them off your hands
I unravel them and use them as bird scarers on my allotment.
If there's a recycling bin at your local recycling centre, then I'd use that, rather than chucking them in the bin.
Freegle them.
I was at a meeting yesterday when someone mentioned a charity that is crying out for old video tapes. They completely dismantle them and sell them on for recycling. I have emailed her asking for more information. I will come back to this thread when I know more.
