The UK is now like a rudderless ship , the Captain having neither charts nor compass, whilst its crew are jumping up and down on deck waving Union Jacks and singing Rule Britannia! will someone pleas send out a May - Day Distress call before the ship sinks.

// The remainiacs are LOVING all these delays aren't they ?? Made their day !//

the remoaners are loving all the delays and losing no opportunity of looking anxious and saying in a worried voice - "we always said it was much much more complicated

and all the turkeys led by The Nige said " no we want Christmas NOW!"
and honestly absolutely no one listened to us "
“dannyk13, 34.4 % voted for 'Brexit' the rest either voted 'Remain' or did not vote. Hardly a 'majority'! .”

You’ve got the figures wrong, Eddie. The turnout was 72.21%. Of those who voted, 51.89% chose to leave whilst 48.11% voted to remain. (Electoral Commission figures). So 37.47% of the electorate voted to leave whilst 34.74% chose to remain. But never mind. Let’s therefore put your statement like this:

“dannyk13, 34.74% voted to remain whilst the rest either voted 'Leave' or did not vote. Hardly a 'majority'! .

Anyway, it does not matter. Almost all plebiscites are decided on the number who vote, not the number who were eligible to do so.

It would be interesting to know how this apparent “democratic deficiency” would have been viewed by the Remainers had the result gone the other way.
OK PP ....
If we want to smudge the lines Judge could I not say that nearly 40% voted to leave whilst nearly 30% voted to remain with almost 30% abstaining?
A member of my family works for a company that has close dealings with government departments. At a recent meeting an aide to a minister told him or her (I am being very careful not to reveal any clues to my family member) that
some of the staff being recruited for the new Brexit department are those
that are being transferred from their present government department jobs as they are useless there.
Well that doesnt narrow it down much at all does it?

Is you familly member a remoaner by any chance?

I know a bloke down the pub who knows this geezer who once went out with a lass who cleand the bogs for ............
Is this yet another typical 'Drama Queen' type thread where one has been unsuccessful and looking for someone of some thing to blame ? Yawn
Another nonsense troll thread ?

No the UK is not rudderless; one needs no chart to move towards a destination that is clear in front of you, but options are being considered as they ought to be. No one is waving flags but there are some malcontents determined to spread doom and gloom despite everything going much better than anticipated. But they have the right to misrepresent reality by posting such threads if they wish. It is their own reputation they risk.

The only person talking nonsense on this thread is yourself. Old Geezer!.
Old-Geezer is spot on though, it's just another (bitter) old troll thread, with no actual question and just a baseless lefty type rant, unless you have more to add?
p.s, sorry to sound rude !
The op has just exposed the real tenet of the thread generated, with a truly enlightening reply to Geezer's measured response. Geezer you have shot the op to bits, and your post did not warrant such a tawdry response.
//your [OG] post did not warrant such a tawdry response.//

Gulliver doesn't do any other kind.
I will post my own analogy in reply to the op.

The EU is now a rogue concept, the Fuhrers having neither morals nor vision, whilst the galley slaves are straining to escape the chains, the submarine volunteer fanatics are frenzied in their attempts to indiscriminately torpedo HMS Brittania. With a series of underhand attacks bordering on the criminally insane  which are designed to intimidate innocent women and children on board, if not to ruin their lives and their children's lives. As these attacks are carried out under the pretence of superiority of thought, they grind their teeth and wail whilst feverishly concocting even more devilish onslaughts.
. . . - - - . . .     This was the last message received from the depths. No one cares or is willing to bail them out.
Oh dear, Gulliver, please do all of us a favour and give over. Honestly, it's getting a bit boring. :)
