On November the 12th I shall remove my Poppy, place it in an envelope and direct it to;

Gianni Infantino
Fédération Internationale de Football Association

FIFA-Strasse 20,
P.O. Box 8044 Zurich, Switzerland

Like minded souls please follow my lead and swamp their mail room.
A small protest but it will make me feel better.

It seems like a gesture, but all it will do is load some poor minimum wage slave with a mass more to do - the powers that be will never even know about it.
Fifa has not banned poppies, there will be lots of poppies at the match.
Good idea Andypip. With the added bonus of providing employment for the underprivileged.
I don't understand this obsession re FIFA and the poppy. Just get your own poppy and show respect as you normally would.

And don't put a Stamp on it.
Thanks for that. :)
FIFA have clearly said to the FA that NO Symbols of political, religious or of a commercial nature can be worn by players.

^Source,the 10.00 news.

What would happen if the players decided to flout the ban? Match bans? Fines?
There are talks of them ignoring Fifa - sanctions have been mentioned but not spelt out.
England & Scotland FAs to defy poppy ban despite Fifa sanction threat

Another storm in a teacup. If FIFA (whom I dislike, by the way) were to allow this it would open the gates to all sorts of unofficial political and religious signaling.
It is not a storm in a teacup and neither is it political or religious. It was set up from a suggestion from Lady Haigh to employ disabled ex soldiers in a factory to give them a living and regain self respect, Fifa will never understand that.

OneF in FIFA is one too many.
Where is the F in respect?
I don't understand Fifa, they were quite happy to allow England, Scotland and Wales football teams to wear a poppies five years ago, what's changed their minds?
