I still find it bizarre that people are getting injured from IED's and it is not terrorism.

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio said authorities believe it was an "intentional act", but added there was no evidence it was terrorism-related.

The explosion comes hours after a pipe bomb blast in Seaside Park, New Jersey, shortly before thousands of runners took part in a 5km charity race.

Perhaps...
You could answer 'perhaps' to any Q where the facts are unknown. It does nothing to further the debate.

Q:Does God exist?
A: Perhaps.

Not exactly pishing the debate anywhere is it?
Pushing
Its clearly a terrorist act and to try to pretend otherwise is disingenuous.

Two bombs in less than 24 hours seems to me to be a planned series of terrorist acts....what else could it be ?
What more do you want me to say? Regardless of what the mayor says I think people are going to suspect that these bombs were planted by terrorists. Sorry to disappoint, but that's my take on it.
If a pipe bomb explosion isn't an act of terror what is it? America, like Sweden, is so PC nobody, Trump excepted, dare say anything anymore. The New York Times is now only a shadow of its former self.
On a parallel subject on another thread, I have just posted part of a letter from Malmo, Sweden;
"Every so often we hear British tabloids accused of lowering the tone of debate. Sweden stands as an example of what happens if frank discussion does not take place."

I rest my case.
Here's an interesting piece after the Boston Bombings:-

I never said it wasn't a terrorist act. Not sure where you got that impression. I was trying to reason why the mayor hadn't used the word terrorist.
Zacs-Master, I didn’t get that impression and I understood what you were saying. Nevertheless, I think it’s a futile effort from the mayor and in saying what he said I feel he’s taking the public for fools.
The Mayor does not want to create unnecessary alarm and panic but people will react how they perceive the situation.

Where explosions are heard what are they going to think? No amount of playing it down changes anything.

Trump's language is spot on.If anybody doesn't realise today's threats they need to make some coffee fast.
Agchristie....it still seems ill-advised of the Mayor to say publicly that these incidents were not terrorism-related, when it was plain for everybody to see that they were. A rose by any other name still has thorns.

I still stand by my previous remark that what he probably meant that it was not Muslim related, although I am unsure how he knows that, or if indeed it is even true.
Mikey,I am in agreement with you.

My second paragraph confirms.
Here is Mayor Bill de Blasio with his foot firmly wedged in his mouth :::

Agchristie....you are indeed and I hope I wasn't suggesting otherwise, as it wasn't my intention !

In fact....aren't we agreeing on this point ?
Mikey, that's the second time on this thread you've posted a pointless link to something that's already been said. Do you read the posts?
Its no different in the UK Talbot.

Kashmir Halal Meat & Poultry in Wednesbury Road, Pleck, was destroyed after an attacker threw two petrol bombs into the shop on June 27.

Police have said the attack was not racially or religiously motivated. The culprit was described as white, 6ft tall and wearing a blue jacket.

trt; I don't think that attack was really racially or religiously motivated, it was animal-rights related. To prevent further violence the government should have an outright ban on all halal butchery in the UK.
