Bt Mail In Iphone
8 Answers
I'm with BT for phone and broadband and use btinternet for email. Using my ipad changed my password at the main BT website and all is well via the ipad, but now I cannot get my emails on my iphone. When I go to settings on the phone and change the password to the new one it tries to verify and comes back with incorrect password message.
I'm also having the same message when I try to log into BT email via the BT website. Help in easy steps please! Many thanks

I was hesitant about offering that suggestion for an iPhone (which I know nothing about) but I've now found that it's exactly what Apple suggests:

Thanks Chris, i read the apple link and braved it. I deleted the account and added it again. Sadly when it asks for a password it gives the same incorrect password message. I'm loathed to change the password as its fine on the ipad.

To add an email account Settings > Mail,Calender,Contacts (down left hand side) > add account (on right hand side).
Your Apple ID will be an email address (which I presume you use for both your iPad & iPhone) and you will have a password for that and is known as your Apple ID password. When you access BT via safari you will have a password for that. When you add an email account to an apple product you will need a password for that also (in settings). You should be able to access BT via safari on your iPhone with the same password as you use to access it via safari on your iPad.
