Can dvd-rw discs be used to store files in the same way as a cd-rw? I have alot of files that I'd like to back up and it would take loads of cd's to do it.

yes, you will need some software like Nero to burn data onto the DVD discs. Where CD-R's and CD-RW's can store only 700-800Mb, DVD discs can store up to 4.7GB.


If you look hard enough on peer to peer programs, such as kazaa or limewire, you should be able to download a hacked, with seriel number, free copy of it.
