What's Your Fav Sweets?

I'm sat here fancying some pear drops. I love them but they used to make my mouth sore from eating too many!

I'm partial to a sherbet fountain too. Wish I had some.

I used to love (only eaten as a rare treat) newberry fruits but have not seen them in shops for years.

Remember mother taking me to dentist in city centre getting a tooth removed. You wore a rubber hat, rubber apron and then led to the gas chambers to be gassed. However on going home mum always bought me chocolate nuts and raisins - oh my - what she was she doing. I have paid the price for those sweets. Also everybody bought me chocolate brazils. No wonder i don't have a bar in my grate. "Not a tooth in my head". Slight exaggeration there. LOL

Are they still the same? Sugary jellies with a liquid centre. Pity can't buy them in real shops anymore. I do like sweets with different textures to savour .

"Beeches Dark Chocolate Gingers" are always around at Xmas, in a Chinese-looking box.....I can never walk past them without buying !

JennyJoan, I remember being gassed like that. Horrible.
My mum took me to the toy and book shop to cheer me up afterwards, saying "you can have a book not a toy".
