Thank you to those who have wished me a happy birthday!
It has been hard but it hasn't been bad and I've had a good day so far. Off to get my nails done soon and dinner tonight. Mum would be proud and she was probably laughing at me - as some time round about my 7th or 9th I was standing in the middle of the street in Edinburgh during something like what we had this morning and I quote 'I want my daddy' I said the same thing in the same tone - somethings never change!

Thank you everyone for your Birthday wishes. I've had a lovely day had lunch and dinner out, had my nails done, might go play with my new toy when I go home now I bought the batteries.

I thought it would be hard but I've done really well and I know mum wouldn't have wanted me to be sad. Plus she's been in the house all day and in my heart so it's the main thing really.

Thank you Daisy, its been an interesting day but it has been a lovely one. Went for dinner with 2 of mum's friends, dad and OH.

I'm so pleased you enjoyed your day Queenie surrounded by people to support you and dad. I'm sure your mum would want it that way.

She would have been. I know that she would have been pleased with what dad got me for my birthday. Even I was a little stunned. But it made me really happy and I still don't know if I want to cry happy tears or sad ones but it has been the best day. I'm glad that I got to share it with them and with all you lovely people. You have been there for me for what has been a very difficult year and I have to say it means a lot too.
