I just turned over to BBC1 and there is a film on with Kathy Bates in. A woman said "Sometimes being a b1tch is the only thing a woman has to hold onto"

No, I wouldnt agree... I cant stand b1tches... To me they seem selfish and only ever thinking of how they feel and not about others.

Jen

Delores Claibourne!! I love that flim!

I'd agree with Jenny to a point, I think being a bitch is usually unnecessary and spiteful, but sometimes you just gotta! Especially if you are Delores - did you watch the fillum Rubes?

I disagree. I think that regardless of what happens in life a person (not necessarily a woman) should hold onto their integrity.

However, wasn't it Madonna who said...'Sometimes you have to be a bitch to get things done' ?

Hey all,

Nat I caught the second half of it. I turned over when she was flashing back to the eclipse. It was good. Wish I had seen it all. :o)

Oct - I don't know if Madonna said it.. I just heard it in a film :o)

...Dolores Clairborne...one of my all time fave Stephen King films....
My girlfriend says I am a bitch but only ever in a jokey way.I am a bitch and proud of it!
Nah, Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile are much better, although I still have visions of that clown with the balloons in It.
If you have to resort to being a bitch to get ahead or get attention then you are most definately lacking something, be it intelligence, maturity or respect for others.
ps Ruby that is not meant as a personal reply to you! I just mean everyone in general :)

Thats ok Alijangra. I didn't take it personally *sob sob* ;o)
Depends on circumstances. Many years ago my hubby had an affair that I found out about, with a so called "friend". if I had been sweet and nice I don't think I'd have survived. God, did I turn into one first class bitch. They both got slapped, knocked her right across a pub, and I made their lives hell for months, like they made mine hell. All turned out OK, he and me started over and she left the area with another bloke, leaving behind her husband and 3 year old daughter. What I'm saying is that sometimes you have to be a bitch.
