...was something I've not experienced before....

A murmuration of Jackdaws......hundreds and hundreds of Jackdaws just yards above my head!
The sound was fantastic but the sight was something I'll never forget.....

The usual morning view from the balcony was a tad different today too....... the line up for a classic car rally start........being watched by a two humped camel.....

Nearly time to find some shade for a stroll.....and a pint of G.....

Dromedary ?
Mr C met a tame jackdaw once...it sat on his arm and preceded to try and undo his watch. They like shiny things you know...
//the line up for a classic car rally start........being watched by a two humped camel.....//

probably escaped from the circus
or Bactrian camel
Definitely bactrian.

One hump -D
Two humps - B

Clue is in the shape of the letters.

Enjoy G.
Do you thing her high gness has gone for a ride on camel ;-))
Maybe G is the camel....
and in Egypt, one pound to get on the camel and nine to get off......
Right then, gness how classic were these cars ?, and who was incharge of the camel ( do two humped camels run faster than one humped camels I wonder).
You sure you're in Ireland?
Ask me tomorrow and I'll be in France :-)
Question Author
I went to have a chat with the camel.....he seemed happy enough but he had one droopy hump.....but he posed for my camera with Croagh Patrick behind him....
My best shot of the day though was a baby Loch Ness Monster......so I'm wondering if I am in Ireland.....
Made me think of aber LochNessMonster....hope all is well, Nessie...x

I photographed the cars, Tony.......there were all sorts...

Just watched the circus folk take down the Big Top....fascinating.....and precisely folding it onto a flatbed truck....very clever....

I hear the jackdaws gathering now so I'll pour a glass and sit on the balcony... well it's a hole in the roof....a proper posh hole in a roof.....but the kids walking below love it when I pop up and down playing boo....

Enjoy France, Shoota....well of course you will......xx
Only one droopy hump, could have been so much worse, gness.

Question Author
Oh gosh, Tony......don't they look sad with droopy humps.... :-(
Almost nothing worse, gness.
Need water
No, but I wouldn't say no to a whiskey though Daisy ;-)
Question Author
I wondered that, Daisy....but he had access to plenty of water...was chomping grass and looked happy....x
Question Author
Just had a google....a droopy hump is a sign the camel needs food and rest..... hmmmm.......x
