What are people's thoughts/experiences after downloading it please ?

I love it. Installed it on two desktop pcs that had been running W8.1 and one old, underpowered netbook running W7.

No problems. I have still have my network, my wireless printer still works as does all my peripherals including my Network Access Storage Hard Drive. I can 'cast' anything on my devices to my smart tv using the built in tools in W10.

Much, much faster boot up times. PCs are not overheating and crashing. I had that problem in the hot weather last year but it is running cool.

Remember to right click on the Windows icon at the bottom left of the task bar - this gives access to many common tasks and many new users don't seem to know about it.

Back in March I accidently left Lappy in Sleep Mode instead of turning it off when I went to bed. Next morning found W10 had downloaded overnight. Had to do one or two minor tweaks to it to get it how I wanted it, but no problems at all since then.

No problems at all. but as Baldic says, you may have to make a few minor adjustments and do things in a slghtly different way, but the benefits are worthwhile.

A number of crucial programs do not work and were disabled by windows 10. Too much spyware most can be removed but not all.
