Display driver stopped responding!

Hi, I have a problem with my laptop. If it's been on for a while (1 1/2 -2 hrs) a windows alert message pops up "Windows - display driver stopped responding" the message says "The ati2dvag display driver has stopped working normally". The graphics on the screen become bulky and out-sized. Can anyone tell me what this means and how can I correct it?

Possiby a re-install of the driver, or get an updated driver from here

It is suggested you update the display driver. Also close the running promgrams as many as possible.
