Mikey, I use Safari on my iPad, and Chrome on my desktop. I've just discovered Opera, which I think is ok. I hate my desktop, though, so not too sure about it. Might be worth a try, though.
Ab Editor has said "Local variation is often the cause". I am not sure if he means that some folk are using good Browsers with appropriate add-ons and others are relying upon Internet Explorer, which regularly has compatibility problems, and Google Chrome which is very overbearing.
There are lots of Browsers, such as Opera, Safari, SeaMonkey etc. but the best must surely be Firefox; if Internet reports are to be trusted of having placed it as Number-one.
Hans....I have to use Firefox, as CHROMe will not let me view and use my BT Yahoo emails.
But is there a way of loading all my favourite websites over from CHROME, onto Firefox, in the same way that I "imported from IE " when I first started to use CHROME ?
