I think it's a load of garbage myself. Soft drinks never harmed anyone. More gubbins from the Health Police. On a separate note, there is only one country in the world where Coca Cola is not the biggest selling drink. Do you know which one?

They just contribute to rising obesity, tooth decay in very young children, diabetes, more cost to the NHS. No,they don't harm anyone.
Netherlands ?
It's not a load of garbage.

You know people have died from drinking the high energy drinks?
Scotland, Clarion, where we know how to get our sugar in.
It's a time bomb. Not just tooth decay, but diabetes later in life. Something that could be prevented so easily is costing the NHS a fortune. Money that could be spent elsewhere.

Aye. ironbru does the trick for our northern cousins.
There's nothing wrong with sugary drinks - it's idiot parents. When I was small I had a drink at home - I didn't go around all day clasping a drink to keep me quiet. I had a biscuit for a treat; I didn't go around all day clasping a biscuit in the other hand from my drink and sucking it.
I don't see kids going round with drinks and biscuits in their hands.

What about North Korea?
No I don't need to get out more. There are a few irresponsible parents that use drinks and sweets to placate their children but most parents are a bit more sensible.

It's not about greedy children, poor parenting or any other stuff. It's about there being too damn much sugar *added* to food. It's in cheese and meat...never mind sugary drinks and sweet cereals. That means *everyone's* palate has changed...what used to be too sweet isn't even noticed now.
It is not sold at all in Saudi Arabia , I worked there for 3 years only a local brew called Kaki Cola or some such name.
