Anyone An English Heritage Member?

I've joined and just received our membership cards... they only have our name on, so when using to enter somewhere, do they ask for extra ID to prove you are the name on the card? Thanks.

We were members for a few years, were never asked for anything else.
We're members and have never been asked for extra ID.
We've never been asked for any other ID. Mind you, we're Senior members, so a look at the hair colour and wrinkles helps identify us.
I imagine it's the same as my Historic Scotland membership. We have an air of unimpeachable honesty so no further checks are needed. :-)
As a former volunteer at an English Heritage site, my experience was that we just asked for the card.
We've not been asked for ID when we've borrowed my sister and BIL's cards!
I've never been asked for any other form of identity.

There are some lovely places to visit at little or no cost. They do an amazing job.

We joined at Osborne House on the Isle of Wight. Vera said It had better be in your name. I won't be here. The poor lass behind the counter didn't know what to say.
