Don't want to sound picky, but is this an English version?
Question Author
Do you mean foreign as in south of the border?

To be honest I have no idea. It says that it is a 'full Britain' subscription.

I noted the English Heritage bit and thought of my brother who moved south to try and tame the English.

I hope that someone finds it interesting.

Thanks Wolf, entered just for the hell of it!
I want the jigsaws :)
I've had a subscription with findmypast for the last few years. They've recently revamped their website and now describe their UK subscription as 'Britain' because it includes the Scottish census. I don't think it includes Scottish bmd records, you may need a separate subscription with Scotlands People for that.

knittynora - is that PC? surely they can't discriminate against us Scots :-)

I didn't give it a second thought - I tried helping my brother trace our ancestors. I have a very short attention span and am unable to stop talking for more than a minute. It was a short lived partnership.
Sorry for the delay getting back to you wolf63, I've been visiting family for Easter. Apparently scotlandspeople own the exclusive rights to the births marriages and death records in Scotland and you need a separate subscription for that, or maybe it's a pay-per-view site. It's the same parent company so I can't see why they couldn't make them available on findmypast - other than the obvious that it's another money making scheme.
Many thanks, well worth a try
