help for a birthday please!

can anyone give me any ideas about what to get my father-in-law for his 60th birthday next month? I'm stumped cause we want to get something a bit special but not overly expensive. Something thats nice to keep seeing as its a special birthday. he loves motorbikes and rock music (70's) and gardening if that helps. he is one of those men who has everything though! thanks for any ideas you can give me.

What about tickets to a concert? I am not far off his age and still enjoy live music, or tickets for a superbikes event, better than a fork & spade,otherwise have alook on the net for a signed linited edition print signed by carl fogarty or another bike racer,

raysparx, what a fantastic idea, do you know of any of the oldies doing a tour? I know he loves stuff like black sabbath, led zeplin etc...any of these old but great rock bands i wouldn't know where to start looking for bike events! help. I just love this idea and now i'm excited but i don't know where to start! Thank you so, so much

Hi jules,glad to help, for concerts I would buy a sunday paper,say the mirror they normally have a couple of pages of who is touring,or if you live near Hertfordshire there is a classic motorbikes show on the 4th of june

Hope you get something sorted, I don't know if Status Quo are touring this year I saw them a few months back, great concert, Good luck. Ray

raysparx you are a diamond among men. thank you so much for your help. i have looked on superbikes. we just missed a meeting at Donnington, thats a shame cause we live in Leicester!!!!! We're not far from Mallory park which is Northampton if i'm correct and Silverstone is pretty near too.i've probably got that arse about face but i'm sure we're pretty near. Thank you so much!

Hi jules,back again I have just been told there is a Rock concert on at Milton keynes superbowl 3rd June, I think Deep purple & Alice Cooper are appearing, might be worth looking at.
