That's the one, Tony......quick panfry with butter and parsley....thought that'd be fine.....☺
Mmmmmmm !
Sometimes cooking for one is just plain boring
Will buy a ready meal
Invariably chuck most of it
Sometimes on a Sunday I will have one as I don't cook on Sunday's. Sometimes I just have soup or a Lidl mini flat bread thingy.

I recently bought a £1 corned beef hash from Asda, thinking "I know it's cheap, but how bad can it be?" It was terrible. Like pap.
You can get good ready meals, and I use them now and then, but usually cook from scratch.
Occasionally. I like M&S but that would work out expensive feeding a family.

Used to, until I realised they were getting sweeter and sweeter. 2 teaspoons of sugar in liver and bacon, over two teaspoons in paella. What on earth is that all about ? Surely the manufacturers don't think that if savoury foods become sweet, we'll all eat more of them ? I found sweetened gravy disgusting and shall never buy these things again.
