The oneth of March already!

The kitchen.

Two very nice men turned up on time at 8 AM. They introduced themselves and we chatted about how it would go. I asked if it would be possible to have the usable worktops and cupboards for the shed. 'No problem' the replies. 'Where would you like them?' they asked. 'Just put them by the shed \and I'll put them away.' I replied. 'We've seen the blue badge on your car. Unlock the shed and we'll put them in there for you.'

That's a job for me on a nice warm sunny day.

How kind is that! So I did. They did. By the time time they'd done that there was a mug of tea and a plate of caramel bickies for them. They thanked me and off they went, saying thet the plumber would be along shortly to take out all the old plumbing and put in new pipework. The plumbers duly arrived and did there stuff while I made them a cuppa and another plate of bickies. They repositioned all the connections, so that I don't have to try and get into the back of the cupboard under the sink to connect everything. It's all where the washing machine will go.

Today I'm waiting for the sparky to come and replace all the electrics.

I have to say I am very favourably impressed.

The damn cough is back. :o{ Such is life.

It didn't take them very long to take everything else out of the kitchen, sweep the floor and tell me the plumber would be along soon
